Few days back bumped on this video , shown in an Indian Reality Show.

One Word describes these cohesive bunch of labouring individuals -- Fantabulous !!!

These Labourers , rag pickers , daily wage earner have shown to this world , given a stage they also can do what other’s can do but with lots of training .

This is simple but laborious India just lying subtly, calmly under the glittering masquerades. Coming from a small village in the remote corner of Orissa , these labourers , I hate to refer them as Labourers , but they have shown where we stand in front of them , in front there resolute performance .

Money not a constraint , disability not a constraint ,formal training not a constraint ,but what matters to them a zeal to show a world that those petty constraints stand nowhere before there strong determination.

So enthralled by the performance that even the judges , the so called Guru in this profession, could not hold there tears .They stood dumbstruck .How could these guys could beat so many professional dancers . Its not about professionalism but about working as a team and with dedication that they came and said loudly ( with there performance) – “World here we are! here we are to show that we are not those who should be looked down upon but with some respect . Though we do some menial work but we do with our heads high .”

Right !! or rather in the words of one of the judges :- “This country’s base was built by the Farmers , Labourers and Soldiers “ . The place we live , the food we eat and the peaceful environment we stay are because of them only . We are only dwellers on top of this base of India.

They are my heroes of the play ,especially of the two disabled brilliant performers who despite being cripple with both the legs , dance with there hands .God damn it ! they are so brilliant in there moves that they defy the restrictions imposed on them by the cruel nature . But they accepted that not as an omen but as a quality on which they can grow upon .
